Staff Profile
Ben is a Research Assistant with the Veterans Sleep Studies. He is responsible for screening of potential participants and assisting the study staff with numerous activities to ensure the smooth transition and completion of participants. He recently completed an academic internship with the Veterans Sleep Studies where he played a vital role in the recruitment of potential study participants. Ben was commissioned as a 2nd Lt. in the Army in December of 2010 after completing his undergraduate degree in psychology and the ROTC program at the University of Pittsburgh. Ben is on an educational delay with his military service as he will be attending graduate school to pursue an advanced degree in psychology or social work.
